Seth D. Rosenzweig, MD
Seth Rosenzweig, MD is a fellowship-trained and board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon, specializing in Sports Medicine and Advanced Arthroscopy, and Minimally Invasive Joint Replacements. Dr. Rosenzweig practices in LOS’ New Iberia location.
Prior to joining Louisiana Orthopaedic Specialists, Dr Rosenzweig practiced with Legacy Medical Group and lberia Medical Center. He completed fellowship training in Sports Medicine at the Campbell Clinic and Foundation in Memphis, TN and a joint replacement fellowship at Tulane in New Orleans, LA. Dr Rosenzweig completed residencies in Orthopedics, Pediatric Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at the University of Alabama, St. Vincent’s Hospital, Scottish Rite Hospital of Atlanta, Tulane and Charity of New Orleans. He received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University and his Medical Degree from Tulane in 2002. He fulfilled his residencies in Orthopedics, Pediatric Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at the University of Alabama, St. Vincent’s Hospital, Scottish Rite Hospital of Atlanta, Tulane and Charity of New Orleans.
Raised in Monroe, Louisiana, Dr. Rosenzweig is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and Arthroscopy Association of North America. He is a fellow of the American Association of Hip and Knee surgeons by invitation in 2013. He holds additional board certification in Sports Medicine under the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has recently accepted a position with the American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine to write exam questions for upcoming fellows and candidates.
